So I've written this song that might Seem very religious but really it's more of a metaphor for feeling betrayed and settting a question mark upon someone or something you had faith in that might really have held you back the entire time. Sort of like standing at a crossroad where you only saw one road before(if that makes sense) so there are more elements to the song. It is a pop song with at gospel element to it(especially in the Chorus). So let me know your thoughts, if you Think something should be changed etc?:-)

If i say
Oh my god
Is it okay
Is it now

Sorry if I've
Let you down
It's hard to look up
With your face in the ground

Pre Chorus:
And where were you
When they took your name
Used it to push us down
Put os to shame
In your name

Chorus:
Lord what have I done
I don't know what to do
Father I'm long gone
Now I dont need you
I'm enough
Without your love

If i pray
To free my life
What would you say
Another lie?

How could i trust
How could i believe
When part of your love
Is to chain my body

Pre-Chorus:
And where were you
When they took our faith
Used it to hold us back
Make us ashamed
In your name

Chorus:
Lord what have I done
I don't know what to do
Father I'm long gone
Now I dont need you
I'm enough
Without your love

They've gone insane, father
they're using your name, father
And they use it for pain, father
You must hear what they say, father
It's all in your name

Chorus:
Lord what have I done
I'll know what to do
Father I'm long gone
Now I dont need you
I'm enough
I always was
